I can’t imagine department stores having display windows that sense when a window shopper is interested in the items on display and then when they approach to look, drops a cover down to block the items and instead asking them to join something, or give their personal information like an email address.

Wireless charging, great. Carry twice the battery capacity due to the inefficiency. And not only do you need a USB cable, but also the charging box.
