IMHO the absolute best bottled carbonated beverage opener......period.

Why is it the best? I never had a problem with any of them, except lighters sometimes because I suck at it.

The top two openers work well for me. Easy to use.
The opener on the mini champ is difficult to use. Will not lift the cap off no matter what I do. Maybe I am not coordinated enough to use it.

Seat belts work good. So does a screw driver

I always have to pry in two spots to get these to work. I prefer ones with a wider surface, like on the Leatherman Skeletool or the Gerber Dime

I like my Spyderco Ladybug at that task.

the best bottle opener is any 90-degree edge such as a table top, bench, etc. hook the edge of the cap on the edge and give it a good solid whack!

From the pictures it looks like Victorinox changed the shape of the opener.

The older version has a hook built-in that grabs the bottom of the bottlecap. The newer version has one less angle and no hook. Looks to me like it would slip off rather than grabbing the bottom edge of the cap.
