Hmmm, I wasn’t aware there were any batteries that used pure IMR chemistry. They are normally mixed with nickel to stabilize the chemistry. Actually, I thought almost all modern 18650 contained a mix of magnesium, nickel, and cobalt, in varying amounts.

But, out of curiosity, I’m interested to know if there are any true IMR batteries used for commercial purposes. Their resistance to over-charging might have some benefits.
