In dilemma, need some sugestions

Have a Jaxman X1 host with 2S battery configuration laying in my drawer. I’m torn between making a thrower with XHP35 Hi or flooder/thrower with XHP 70.2.
I’m a bit out of the loop on what is up to date nowadays so I’m asking for suggestions on what to do.

XHP35 HI
What are my boost driver options (from 2S to 4S)? Would like to drive this Led as hard as possible (2 - 2.5 Amps) and have a side switch option.

XHP 70.2
I’ll probably wait for a LED4POWER’s 2S driver with side switch option. Maybe there is another driver with side switch out there? What is the Sweet spot regarding amps (7 - 8 Amps maybe) for this led? Should I dedome it chemically (or slice), don’t know what works? What kind of tint shift should I expect after dedoming?

Cheers

Bump

XHP-35HI with pre-collimator and soon to be released 1S driver from Lexel et Al.

Interesting info on that new lexel driver, thanks. Hope it can boost from 2s also.
Jaxman x1 is a reflector thrower, z1 model has aspheric lenses so collimator is not an easiest solution.

es, it also works with 2s.

Sorry, I misread the host name.

The new driver they are developing is the only one which will give you full power from a boost driver.

Otherwise you could use the XHP70.2 with 2s and a LD4 linear driver (or a DD driver, but I’m not a big fan of those).

Not a fan of DD drivers also, regulated power is what I need. Any info on release date of new Lexel driver?

Not sure, maybe next month.
