I’m trying to get Lucky Sun to make 2 cell tubes for our BLF Special Edition D80’s. It’s difficult to get them to look at it as a separate tube for modding purposes, but I think I’m making progress. So it’s time to get an idea what kind of interest this might stir up so they can see how many to make.
If you’re interested in a double length tube for 2 series 18650’s for your BLF SE D80, pleas chime in here and I’ll try my best to keep track. If you help by keeping the post simple, maybe I won’t get lost.
I’d love to see 100 but … well, let’s see!

Oh yeah, lets get em started thinking on it then we’ll figure out exactly what the length needs to be. Most of us that will want these will know it’ll take a different driver and probably a spring top and bottom, so we’ll have a look at that when we get some counts going on, ok?
Edit: In the first 26 posts there are 26 accounted for. I don’t know how many numbers it would take to make them take it seriously, but I will let May know how it’s looking… not a bad quick start.
Richard has a good Buck driver and he’ll build it to suit your needs, with appropriate levels and total power level.
I put one in a Jax X6 Hunter with an XM-L2 at 5.2A and 1500+ lumens, steady reliable output with long run time on a pair of 26650 4200mAh Purple Efest’s.
Crazyeddie, this is specifically for the BLF Special Edition D80 made by Lucky Sun. I’m told the stock D80 doesn’t share threads with the Special Edition light, so this interest list is again, very specifically for the Special Edition D80.
