is 22ga wire too large to use for drivers/leds?

Looking for silicon wire to use to solder to drivers. Fastech only seems to have it in 22 ga.

22AWG is my preferred size.

I have found 22ga to be the perfect size for led and driver mods. Sometimes though, the 22GA is too fat to fit in the hole to the LED. But I believe I read before that the traces on most drivers are very, very tiny and thin compared to almost any wire you will use to build your flashlight. I am now thinking that this might be a bottleneck of most drivers by design.

I guess that’s a good reason to get the drill bits out! Thanks.

Resistance is cumulative, so minimize it where you can. Thicker wires is never bad when you can fit them.
