Im thinking of getting a monster power thrower to add to my collection. I was debating on the gt94xvn or the Wuben A1. I dont like that the Wuben has the prong charger instead of the usb-c and with the new 4695 li ion being introduced im not sure if it is worth waiting until the next “big thing” or just pull the trigger. What are your thoughts?
Depend on price 
The question is do you want proven technology then get it. If you want some modern battery where no charger exists other than the light itself, then look elsewhere. Not to mention getting replacement batteries would be close to impossible.
Not an easy decision. I can see both sides.
Generally speaking, these performance lights change quickly with technology so without a doubt the newer lights are going to be higher performance.
For pure performance, i would look at the latest Lumentop and Acebeam as well. Both excellent companies.
I own the x75 xhp70.3 and the e70 and the k75. I was hoping acebeam would produce something to compete with Wuben but to no avil just yet. At least nothing over 20k lumens and 2000m throw.
