Hi,

do you know if there is any budget friendlier alternative to this model by Jetbeam - DDR30-GT besides Convoy L6? I still dont have a single XHP70 flashlight and I really like its design, but the price is not justified at all. It should be a full sized flashlight running on 4x18650 with single XHP70 or 70.2 and reflector size of around 60-70 mm. There are some MT07S haikelites, but I dont find the design really attractive.

Some time ago I found on aliexpress this flashlight. It’s smaller and not super budget… It can be a good base for mods.
I like the design, but I’m a little afraid of quality.
Maybe I’ll risk one day…

Imalent RT70 maybe. Can grab it for less than $100 with a coupon from one of the guys.

Hey mate any reason why you want 4 18650s? Two 26650s will hold as much energy as four 18650s? Having a longer light with a big reflector make the light feel more balanced.

Only light with XHP70.2 I have is Amutorch AM30. It takes 3 18650s, 4 modes + Turbo + strobe. Holds max output (3600 lumens) for about 3 minutes. Useful light beam above 150m. Major con, is that it may be bit heavy.

Other than that…is built like a tank and completely reliable :+1:

Lexel, good suggestions I will check these out. TN40S would be my top favourite high output thrower, but is off my hobby budget for now :smiley:
