Traffic wand for a “soda can” flashlight such as an SRK or meteor…?
Here you go
Seriously though, a mini traffic cone would likely work. I’ve seen them in red too. Just be sure it’s a cheap one, made of plastic not semi-hard rubber like full size cones and some better quality mini cones.
You’re really not likely to find an actual traffic wand of the proper size intended for a soda can flashlight. Your other option would be to make one. Find a cheap clear plastic cup that fits your light and add a layer of red tail-light repair tape.
I make my own all the time. Universal. Fits any size light. Any color and length you want. I just tape colored paper around the bezel. Roll up the paper one time, then fold the end/top. Works like a charm!
Should just buy a Maglite genuine wand. There is only a 2mm difference in bezel size between the SRK and the lights its designed for. There is no way it won’t fit.
Well you were right. After quite a bit of molestation, I Coerced it on.
It’s a real springy, memory plastic they used. Very strange. But very good for the application.
Noctigon Meteor M43 XP-L DD
Maglite C/D white traffic wand that was boiled in water and stretched to fit the m43
Yellow sunglasses cleaning cloth, cut to fit the m43 head, to fix the tint
a bottle of Kirkland Signature brand 2014 Cab Sauv California from Costco ( ~$8 for 1.5L… not very good.)
Gouda cheese, also from Costco, imported from Holland
I take it that because you are from Australia, the photo came through right-side up?
