I’m definitely not new to the flashlight world. I just don’t understand all the technical stuff when people start breaking down which emitter is better based on xyz and what color temps are best. I just know what lights I like and for what reasons. I mostly have what I would assume “regular” flashlight people would call tactical handhelds like surefire, modlite, cloud, etc and they’re great indestructible lights but they’re too big and heavy for EDC IMO. These are what I keep bedside or when I travel. Or if I just have to go outside real quick. I want to get something smaller that I can carry in my pocket. What are some good throwers with decent spill too? I don’t want a million options and programming features I just want something that has high and low. I think that’s why I always gravitate back to the “tactical” lights for their simplicity. I currently EDC the Olight I3T EOS with a 10440 battery and clicker mod and 75% of the time it’s fine for indoor tasks but when I’m outside walking the dog or just checking the property it doesn’t have any reach. When I take the cloud or modlite I can see everything I want to and then some. I was looking at the zebra light SC600F Mk IV Plus or ZebraLight SC600w IV Plus HI but watched a video on programming and I’m lost after the second time the guy did 7 clicks and then 4 double clicks. Then went onto the Lumintop FW3A but started reading on here that the current ones are not suggested because of the removal of some chip. I picked up the Surefire E2T MAXVISION TACTICIAN but it doesn’t have the punch I want.
TLDR - I’m looking for a simple high & low thrower with decent flood too that is basically just the size of the 18650 battery and is light. Who makes this?
