Is there any hope?

I thought I was cured. Made it through a month without buying a light. Then someone posted that darn deal at Allbatteries.com. iTP A3 E0S for $9.99, iTP A2 SS for $15.99 and iTP H01 for $11.99 before the 12% discount. I fell off the wagon and ordered 8 lights. Got me started up again. Along comes a Romisen T601 (I really like this one) Citipower X3, X5 and X7 off ebay. Now I have three more ordered and coming in the mail. All ordered on different days so it wasn't just a case of me getting weak for a short time. Ultrafire version of the X7, Jetbeam PA40 and now a Ultrafire UF-T50. If that wasn't bad enough, I have 8 Trustfire 3000 18650 batteries coming from MF. I think I have lost it. I wish spring would come and it would warm up outside. I could get out of the house and away from this dam computer where I come to BFL and read about a new light that I can't live without. Someone please help me. If this keeps up I will need a curio like ILIKE and rikr.

See it like this: At least spring isn't here yet so you don't have to worry about anything overheating outdoors (-;

That's true but there is cold for this time of year and then there is cold like we are having. It's been getting down to just above zero and up to the low 20s in the daytime with a 15-20mph wind. To darn cold to be out long enough to give the lights a good workout.

There is no hope, short of permanently losing your internet connection. Just accept it, budget for it, and move on.

(I'm saying this, and I've only been at it for +/- 5 months!)

Good news. You weren't unwell to begin with so carry on as you are.

The thing is ... if you are honest ... you don't want to be "cured".

right, I want to win the lotto

Just remember --- flashlights are going through what computers went through 20 years ago.

How's your Atari collection looking these days? Got a lot of SCSI equipment?

I try to look at a new flashlight with the perspective of someone five years in the future, and think, gee, that was big news, briefly.

No, it doesn't help all that much.

I set my super nintendo on fire, about ten years ago, when my roomates refused to either buy it or stop playing super mario brothers.

I'd better stop buying plastic lights.

honestly chid, the itp a3 is the one light I think everyone should own.

I agree. I have about 6 of them and I have given three more away. Great little light.
