I am looking for XP-G2-R5-A1 emitter without sinkpad. I have read a lot of posts and found places that sell just emitters but not what I am looking for or it’s on sinkpad. I am a newby and learning curve is not steep(pretty damn flat) at the moment.
Any help would be much appreciated.
You might be able to get them from RMM.
You’ll have to ask him as the bare emitter is not listed on his site, but it’s worth a shot.
Edit: Or you could just get the alu star with r5-1a on it, and remove the emitter yourself.

Why do you only want the emitter and not a sinkpad or noctigon?

IS has R5 1C. Closest I could find.
It’s probably easier and less expensive to get a R5 1A on small star and just desolder it.

I have several copper stars and would just like to replace emitter and have a smaller collection of sinkpads. I have looked at Mouser, fasttech and a couple others. I think my question was answered and also got a good grin on my face reading the posts. Oh……don’t worry I am sure I will be back with other…… Good Question

That’s a few cents cheaper than fasttech. And probably a lot more difficult to desolder from that big plate star.
I’ve used the fasttech xpg2 r5 1A and they are fantastic.

6000-6500K does not represent 1A tint, but 1C. But firstly the R5 is not specified, and even if it was specified we know many of these sellers just claim the highest number possible, do not assume it's R5, it can well be R4 seller (joy-deal) will still tell you R5.
Thank you for the input. Thats why I figured it would be best to ask before buying. I want to try my hand at De-doming and pretty sure I will go through a few. FT will be getting another order from me soon.
