You can tell from the tailcap that it is the clone. Still has great output and everything, but it’s probably not quite driven as hard as the real deal.

Good idea. I have and love my clone better than the original because the original flickered and died. PLus, they are mod-worthy and quite useful with great throw.

Mine was from Manafont (the original), but I think just direct drive and the tail switch is pretty much it by way of differences. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but I remember reviews stating that the original can hit 4.7 amps with the right battery.
