In the last 6 days I have purchased:
-US Defiant “Super Thrower”
-US Defiant ArmorMax
–2 pack of US Defiant 125 lumen Tactical Lights
-Jacob A60 (still watching mailbox for this one)
Waiting for my Romisen T601 to be exchanged and returned to me… definately have a few new toys to play with for a couple of weeks!
Great little light… Excellent build quality. I have the U2. It’s not as bright as the XINTD V3 or Lightmalls C8 U3. But an excellent light. Mine has the secondary light ring around the outside of the beam like the LM C8… Good choice for a small thrower
Wouldn’t see why not… It gets out there well. If I was looking for a duty light… Might look into the Solarforce P60’s… I would think they would fit perfectly into a ASP holster…
You will know you’re bad off when you start ordering new lights before your last order has arived. I’m really sick. I have 4 inbound orders at this time. Sick, sick, sick. Help!!!
In that “No Subject” picture, are those the Solarforce lights? I’ve been using an Ultrafire C8 on duty but its a 5 mode and I cant take much more of the cycling thru modes… I thought I’d give the Romisen a try when it gets here or the Jacob A60… Always looking for that perfect one though! I’d really like something with great throw, usable spill and 3 modes max (preferably 2). It seems like each new one I buy looks promising, but are never quite what I need for work…
Those are a few of the solarforce lineup & thats the C8 I was talking about. You can order a single stage ‘drop in’ for the SFs. Click it on light click it off no light… No modes to worry about.
As for Solarforce, what is the best or brightest in your opinion? Which model # so I can check it out and bookmark (’cause I dont know whats what). Thx
They're a bit backed up after taking a holiday, but they're the only distributor you can be sure about the authenticity.
Brightest depends on your drop-ins. A lot of P60 nay-sayers around here because of pretty poor heat-sinking.
You can make your own customised one with the stuff from FastTech.
16mm LED MCPCBS and 17mm Drivers are what you need.
