I noticed this H6 about 5 weeks ago in the Jaxmnve store on Aliexpress and ordered it. It took almost a month for delivery.
It’s by far the cheapest 90° variable angle head light I’ve seen. It was $17.90 including a 2600mah (not verified) battery.
It uses the same UI as their M3. You press and hold for 1 second to turn on/off. It has 3 closely spaced brightness levels or a dbl click gives you a variable brightness mode. A triple click is strobe. It also has memory for all modes including strobe.
It has built in USB charging with a Micro USB port. A red led glows when charging and a green led glows when finished.
I measured the output of its Cree xpl emitter on my Texas_Ace Lumen Tube calibrated with Maukka’s light.
Low 165 lm
Med 275 lm
High 550 lm
In infinity mode the lowest level I could get was 50 lm.
I also measured tail cap amps with a thick wire and a UNI-T UT210E clamp meter.
Low 0.41A
Med 0.70A
High 1.45A
50 lumen was about 0.17A
Overall, I’m not very impressed. While I like the smaller, lighter M3, the H6 seems to be overly heavy. The battery tube thickness is way more than it needs to be. It’s not a light I’d want to carry around. Maybe for car use?
The clip design is also quite bad. It does not clamp on to the light very tight and the other end tends to slip too easily. I was able to squeeze the clip to make it grip the light tighter and that helps.
The head design seems fine as it rotates anywhere between 90°. It firmly stays in place.
The tail cap has a very strong magnet allowing it to be held securely at any angle.
The finish is not that durable as you can already see scratches around the clip from it falling off and me putting it back on.
It comes with a pretty nice head strap which allows for the clip. You can also get to the button pretty easily.
I got the white light version which is CW. It’s actually pretty nice. No noticable green or blue.
I could go on with more details, but I won’t. If you have any questions I’ll be glad to answer them.
