What kind of dog was Charlie? He looks like a sweetheart. Reminds me of my old Border Collie/Jack Russel Terrier mix, Frank. Picked him up off the street in 98, he passed in 2017.

He’s a Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which is my favorite medium-sized breed.
I actually prefer larger dogs, but Corgis are pretty awesome for their diminutive size.

This picture is taken with a crappy phone camera. It shows my unforgettable standard Schnauzer Freyja at 14.5 yrs. of age on her last agility run. I competed with her on a national level, but that was a long time ago. But when I took her to visit a small dog-club gathering, she inhaled the smell of hurdles, poles and tunnels. She could barely walk with arthritus, but she wanted to make a (last) run too. This time on a puppy track. A few months later we had to say goodbye.
