✌ JETBeam EC26 4*CREE XP-L HI 3600lm EDC 18650 Flashlight Group Buy - ALIVE! @$39.95

Thank you for your support!

The EC26’s button boot is actually flush with the head. It doesn’t rock left to right at all and has a nice satisfying click. It works fine.

It just feels a bit thin compared to other flashlight boots, because when you press it your finger feels shapes through the inside of the boot.

I’m reviewing it now the button is fine, it’s Lumintop you need to complain about in regards to the button.

There are other issues with the EC26 though.

Understood.

Why are we supporting if they cannot even be bothered to give toykeeper credit. No money from me. Shame on the rest.

Not just that but it’s a blatant ripoff of D4v2. At least others change something, like the nitecore that used 4 reflectors instead of TIR.

No excuse for their software handling, but let’s be honest here, it’s a flashlight. If you want to make something the market seems to want, (eswitch, aux LEDs, multi emitter, etc) without it being gimmicky or a totally different form factor, it’s going to be pretty similar to other lights with the same feature set. The Carclo TIRs in particular are a commonly available industry standard part, plenty of MFGs use such optics in their lights. I don’t see this as a blatant ripoff any more than I see the E14 III and KR4 being in the same boat, or an A6 vs a S2+, or an EDC AA vs a i5T EOS. The Notigon K1 wasn’t first in its class for a e-switch 21700 thrower running anduril IIRC, but I hardly consider that to be a blatant “ripoff” of the Astrolux that preceeded it.

It’s okay to use free software… that’s what it’s for. But they still need to follow the license, and that doesn’t seem to be happening.

So… anyone have any clue how to get in touch with Jetbeam?

Try emailing info@jetbeamlight.com they did respond to me on that email, for my faulty RRT-01

EDIT: Today they started sending me replies from "random number@qq.com" emails, not from info@jetbeamlight.com, as they did so far, so I don't know what happened...
That "random number" is just bunch of digits, won't be posting this here, because don't know why they did that.

EDIT: "We've sent several emails that have bounced back, so I'll try sending them from this email address to see if you can receive them." - ok, so I now know why they didn't send anything from the main email.
