Jetbeam Quality...

Your thoughts?

I only have one JETBeam light, an RRT0 SE that was a gift several years ago. It has the look and feel of excellent quality and has functioned perfectly over the years. Based on my very limited sample, compared to many lights from many manufacturers, I'd rate my JETBeam as one of the higher quality lights I have.

In terms of physical build quality , I’d rank them on par with (if not better than) the likes of Sunwayman, Acebeam, Thrunite, Nitecore, etc.

I’ve got three Jetbeam flashlights: the Mini 1 peanut/keychain light, their older BA20 2xAA two mode jobbie and their purple/teal titanium Jet II Pro, which is a replacement after the E-switch crapped out on me, on the first one, after only two months.

Otherwise, I like the brand and they produce a lot of wild looking lights.

Buncha Jet-Is and a Jet-II. Great looking designs, absolutely flawless ano (love the dark gray) that’s probably among the best around, simple and decent UI. LED choice tends to be on the greenish side, though.

amd yours?

Bought an RRT-0 in 2011. Simple but effective UI. Has never let me down!
Was my only EDC for many years in a row.
Eats everything you throw at it: AA, CR123A, 14500, 16340, and after a mod: 18350.

Only thing I have not done is leave it in the jack and put it in a washing machine.
Only thing I should NOT have done: swapping the OP to a SMO reflector (horrible beam).

My RRT 01 2019 has been flawless.

I got a few.
ST Cycler that I used on my bike - flawless quality.
WL-S1 (x2) - excellent quality
WL-S2 - same
BC-20GT - very good quality, but it doesn’t feel as good as the others, I can’t say why exactly. Maybe I’m imagining it. No problems with it whatsoever, no chipping or faults either.

2019 RRT01 - brillant
Jet II-MK (1) missing resistor on driver
Jet II-MK (2) - brillant
RRT2 - bouncing switch

So … 50% trash, 50% excellent quality. Sounds bad? Still I’d risk buying a Jetbeam again. With some luck, you’ll get a tank.
