JETBeam - SYSMAX News.

Oh, Its your post bro. Apologies for posting here w/o your permission.

No I meant my post has disappeared from CPF because the Thread has disappeared, not that you have pinched anything from me. I was trying to be dramatic.

oops…

Well let me put in my two cents. UP to very, very recently, every Nitecore (and Jetbeam) product has a Sysmax warranty card inside. This is from factory, not a middle man.

Also, the Tiny Monster (TM11) has SYSMAX prominently printed on the circuit board on the head.

Where does this leave SYSMAX?

I'm getting the feeling that SYSMAX is the one getting the shaft here.

+1

I’m thinking the guys they got to do the manufacturing for them, now Niteye, have backdoored them.

That’s a good question.

I contacted Jetbeam regarding the RMA, as it was a M Series M2S.
At first Jetbeam responded. After a few weeks same person yet it now said Sysmax at the bottom of
each e-mail. This replaced a Jetbeam Logo.

i finished up the claim, warranty, and purchase with another lady at Nitecore. Who did comment
and say that for now Nitecore will focus on their own product line and Jetbeam aside.

I have no clue what her she meant.

Which is the real Jetbeam? Please come again. Not sure i understand.

How2 - I read the entire thread now

Who is the real Jetbeam?

Not a clue.

When i purchased my first Jetbeam an M1X-M ( great fn thrower). i needed
a few hard to get accessories. Everyone i dealt with was Jetbeam, mailing address Jetbeam.
Accessories and now that im looking the warrenty card Jetbeam. The M2 card Sysmax.

IMHO, Jetbeam is one of small few overseas companies that create true weapons grade lights.

After looking at the new site and reading it seems more that SYSMAX was trying to shaft the real Jetbeam company who they were only distributors for by registering the trademark and other activities that hurt the manufacturer. Will be interesting to see if the prices do come down as they claim they will. Just look at the new Nitecore MT series, they are all pretty much ripoffs of JETBeam models that have been on the market for awhile now, hell, they didn’t even change the numbers, just the prefix, look at the MT40 vs. BC40, it’s actually kinda sad. SYSMAX has to be much more than just a distributor. They must have manufacturing and production capability or the financial clout to contract a factory to make products with their name as NITECORE is their brand.

They have their name on the original website images and also on the packaging of past Jetbeam products.
As mentioned above, they also have a warranty card supplied with past flashlights that states: ” All rights reserved to SYSMAX Industry Trading Co. Ltd. ”

Also, they had a motto under the JETBeam name, ” Illuminating a New Era “, which now seems to be missing.

Another interesting point is that Shenzen Jetbeam Technology would allow all this to go on for years and now is pulling the pin on SYSMAX ?

On Manafonts Jetbeam products page, there are now 2 different JETBeam packages:

1. The old SYSMAX nice colorful packaging with professional appearance, higher price and JET-Beam.com website
2. The New JETBeam plain brown box packaging with lower price and some models missing Lanyard and holster and Jetbeamlight.com website.

I own 2 Jetbeam flashlights and have a PC20 on the way.
I hope I get the SYSMAX version as I know they were great quality.

What a fiasco ! I wonder if we will ever get the Real facts of ownership ?
