garrybunk: Thanks to you also! I just recently bought the Defiant “Super Thrower” 3C based on your postings. Nice light. Want to mod it for 1 or possibly 2 18650 in parallel or in series if it’ll go and make it brighter.
:) Now if only I could get Home Depot to give me some percentage of their sales on these lights for all the people I've influenced to buy them!

+1 on that! Something strange I noticed tho about the packaging this light. There were some packaged angled to the right and then some angled to the left. I wonder if in some small they’re all the same light…
All the same. They are just packaged that way to they take up less room in the shipping boxes. If all the lights tilted the same direction the heads would all be touching and you couldn’t fit as many in the shipping boxes or on the store pegs. With them at different angles the heads stagger and you can squeeze more into a shipping crate or onto a display hanging peg.
