The Osram will have a thin pencil bean, good thrower as you noted.
The SST40 might be high CRI depending which version you got.
The SBT90.2 requires a high drain battery for max output.

thats a bad led if u looking for a throwy light, hotspot wont be exactly small and throw good…
smaller the die the longer the throw, normally
xhp50 would be better in a zoomie if you want to zoom right out , and have a really throwy spot

im no expert on leds and i always though the more lumens the more throw, there are so many other factors also

Have the output issues been corrected yet?
I’ve used a C8 with the Osram and it’s insane how far it throws, and how small the hotspot is.
But… Aside from this, has anyone got a practical use for it? I’m not arguing the fun factor as that’s a big chunk of this hobby, just wondering if anyone uses theirs for anything genuine 
I like the idea of a monster thrower but I just know I’ll never use it.
