Every time I stop by this forum it cost me money! :smiley:

I just placed an order at Banggood and Liion Wholesale batteries and since it will be a while before my stuff arrives I would like your thoughts on what I purchased.

I have several small EDC lights and a couple of older C8 size throwers and a SRK “soda can” flooder that Richard built for me several years ago but I wanted to see how some of the newer leds performed and I needed a good thrower.

I payed $20 dollars extra at Banggood for the Express shipping, does any have any idea how some I should expect to get my order in East Tenn.?

I have gotten BG orders as quick as 2 weeks and as long as 2 months. BG is a company we all seem to hate but we always go back to.

You bought all great stuff. Happy to see you bought the batteries from a legitimate place.

I just couldn’t decide which LED I wanted in the FTO3 so I ordered both! My son is needing a thrower so I will probably give one of the FTO3 to him, after a have plenty of time to “test”. :smiley:

I have a Convoy C8 that I purchased around 2014-2015??? It was very popular on this forum at the time. I am not sure of the led but the driver was something like 7135*8 and for a $17 light it is a decent little thrower. I am curious to see how the old Convoy C8 compares to the newer Convoy C8 with the SST40.

Ordered on Jan. 24 arrived Feb. 5.

12 days from Banggood to Knoxville, TN., not to bad! The tracking information is terrible but everything made it here in good condition.

I am far from qualified to do a review, but I will post some pictures and my thoughts. The C8 convoy has really impressed me in build quality and appearance. I was not expecting by-passed springs and such a nice finish for $20. :slight_smile:
