Just realized not all C8 are the same.

I know most C8 flashlights are different notably xinTD and KD vs. cheap Chinese knockoff etc… Well I’d figure I can replace the pill of my C8 with a KD C8… I was wrong… It created rings on my ebay c8. What I realize is the KD C8 pill is that it’s recessed into the pill about a few millimeters. Also the xml is not the standard 20mm star but the 12m one? Anyways I’m glad my dad took it anyways. Considering most stock c8 are interchangeable in head, body, tailcap etc…

yeah… i got mine from ebay too… it has 12 mm XM-L t6 not as bright i thought it would be.
does yours come with extension tube to accommodate 2 batteries too?

Mine was one of the “cheap chinese knockouts”. The pill is exactly the same dimensions though as the Manafont

What matters are the threads that screw into the pill. I think they will all fit into the head. Rings has something
to do with the reflector. I have som from KD and they all fit in my “cheap” light.

@ Daylight no it was a really good driven C8 equal quality and build to the Trustfire flashlights I had. It only came for 1x18650. So yea never buy a 10 dollar pill for a 13 dollar light, lol.
