No I actually started out with this little rcr123 battery set/charger for other stuff and they kicked in a flashlight too. Not sure if they meant to do that. Then I went to an Trustfire 3 XML led 3800 lumen at Amazon and then graduated to this monster TrustFire 12XT6! H)

That’s quite a light to start off with. I got my TR-3T6 today and 2 hours later I had it apart modifying the driver 
pics tomorrow.

i was out talking a walk yesterday after dark, and used my TF TR-3T6. can’t remember when i last enjoyed a walk by myself that much! lit up a field, saw a couple of hares running away from the light. i don’t need any bigger light at the moment, but in a couple of years i can see myself owning some kind of bigger monster, with even better leds in it :bigsmile:
