Ok guys I just dropped the price on the TN31. It is now $105 shipped. This is an awesome light built by Tom E. I love it but don’t play with my lights like I used to and would love to see it go to a BLF member who would use it.

I just had the BTU outside with my Olight M2X and M25C2VN, the beam pattern is quite a bit larger on the BTU. It pretty much lights up everything in its path. The M25C2VN definitely out throws it but I’m not too sure about M2X. I’ll have to wait until I can go somewhere to do some actual distance tests.
The K50vn didn’t get the workout I was hoping for, was busy putting together a lighted tailcap and spending time with the family. I’ll be out in the boonies tonight for an SME tour, so I plan to do some comparisons before heading home. I’ll report later. I can say for sure that the light just oozes quality compared to a lot of lights I’ve played with. It’s to be expected at the price point, but still quite a thing to behold.
Got the TN31 yesterday, it smokes my stock TN31 easily.
Well I took the K50vn out and it didn’t disappoint. It’ll easily throw the beam, even on a dusty night, as far as you’re likely to ever need to see anything. Because of the debris being kicked up in the wind it was not necessarily able to throw much further visually than a 360kcd zoomie because of the spill light lighting up the debris. The beam was larger and more usable at distance than the zoomie which is running an XP-G2, but slightly defocusing the zoomie leveled the playing field for spot size. I’m positive on a windless clear night it would be a different story, the power of this light cannot be denied.
