(BTW, just today I received some cells from them via regular mail, in 8 days, hehe, after paid. Although, nevertheless, dispatch time is one of great areas of improvement for them :o . )
Maybe we could arrange some group buy of some most wanted drivers…
For example, I would like affordable driver 8,4V, 3,0A, with 2 modes and start always on high, or something like that.
It can have several modes but to start always on high.
(I just cannot remember wich diammeter I need for Small SUn T-13 flashhlight. Also some better drivers (better mode arangement) for STL-V2 would be great… Price is important though

Yesterday I placed an order at KD for the first time (Romisen T-602), but one thing bugged me:
I wanted the light to be shipped to my parents, because it is going to be a present for my Dad, and before you check out KD gives you the choice to checkout without specifiing a adress, so they will use your paypal standard adress or “use another adress”. Everytime I ticked “use other adress” I couldnt click the check ou button.
I checked everything in my browser (ff) twice, but I couldnt get it to work.
End of the story I checked out with the first option, where I got forwarded to my Paypal account and changed the adress there, what should work as well i hope, but this “bug” in their check out system indeed “bugged” me.
Congrats to the Romisen. It's a nice name (i am a snob and discriminate brands with brand names i dont like) and they produce good build quality lights. Kaidomain can be slow .. so crossing fingers that it reaches your Dad in time ;)
I received wrong product (reflector instead of whole flashlight) from them and never got responce.
Stopped buying form them completely.

I just received 12mm multi-layer coated AR lens from kaidomain, only 12 days after the order!
That’s pretty fast. The order had only that one lens in it, and I didn’t even pay for any shipment upgrades. For a comparison, I ordered other items from “Fasttech” 16 days ago, paid extra for tracking in hopes of faster delivery and the package has not even reached my country yet.
It has been a long time since I last ordered anything from KD, as I had a bit bad experience with them many years ago. I bought a cheap, $1 or $2 lighter that was broken, and when I contacted them, they said they would send a replacement next time I order something. I thought that if I have to order more stuff just to get working item, I would get my items elsewhere - and so I did.
But now that my Olight i3’s lens mysteriously broke, and I found 12mm AR lens from KD, I thought I’d give it a try. And it was worth it. The delivery was so fast that I just might start ordering more items from them again. + it is adorable how they still use postage stamps to send the packages.
Well, there was a slight imperfection in the lens, it had some line going in the coating, maybe an edge of one of the layers. But it is hardly noticeable now that the lens is attached, and it wont affect the beam at all. It was really well packaged too. The lens is also 1.5mm thick, while the original lens was 1mm thick. That made enough difference that the head did not screw in as far and the body’s O-ring was visible. So I removed the O-ring from between the flashlight’s head and lens and just added some teflon tape in between there. Now the head screws in far enough and I have a working flashlight again.
Anyways, I just wanted to share my positive experience with KD.
How does that AR coating look, other then the line? Very clear with nice purple AR reflection?
The lens looks very clear. Reflection is blue or purple depending on the angle of reflection.
