KD driver

Hello,
i have a question about a KD driver.
http://kaidomain.com/product/details.S020073
I own an UltraFire C8 XM-L T6 and i want to install that circuit in order to be able to have only High and Strope. As i saw i am able to have this option by soldering the bridge S2-S3-S4 to GND.
If i solder S1 to GND then i have memory option.
I’m going to use that flashlight for my weapon, so i am going to add a pressure switch.
My problem is, when i press the switch which mode is going to be on? High or Strobe?
I don’t own any pressure switch yet.
But i want to be able to use this 2 options (high and strobe) in any time.
So i need a pressure switch with Clicky (Clickie) ?
anyone who saw that kind of pressure switch or any other idea how to have 2 options?

Sorry for my english.

Thanks you.

edit:
something like that.

The memory option allows the user to leave the light on a desired mode after turning off and have it turned on in the same mode the next time it is powered back up(regardless of switching operation).

I would guess you want this light to always come on in High mode and have the optional strobe available with just a touch. Do this by not connecting S1(no memory), this way the light will always return in the mode first listed on the option…in this case High. Double click the switch once the light is powered and strobe will come on, shut it off or double click again(after two seconds) and High mode will come on.

You do not “need” a clickie pressure switch, any type of connection that completes the circuit will power the driver.

Thanks you for your reply.
I’ll check out this as soon as i get it.
One more question.
Am i able to use this KD driver with 4000Mah battery or should i get 3000mAh.

Battery capacity won't matter at all. All that matters is keeping your battery voltage below +/- 4.5v (I don't see an exact spec, but over about 4.2v gets less efficient anyway).

what Garry said - but to clarify - input voltage is what matters…don’t try to charge a single li-ion cell to 4.5V just because the driver says it can accept that voltage

Yeah, I guess I shouldn't have said "battery voltage" but "driver input voltage" instead. Thanks dthrckt.

well, technically speaking, I think what you said is correct - the ‘battery’ could be two cr123 cells, which would toast that driver with high voltage…

Are you talking about 1 battery? the c8 uses 1 18650 battery. 3400 mAh is the highest (Panasonic) available in that format. 4000mAh advertised on an 18650 is guaranteed junk. It could be 3100mah or 3mah.
