I went ahead and purchased this drop-in at the old price of $18.80. One hour later I see the new price of $12.86. AHHH. I requested a refund as I only purchased it a couple of hours ago. Do you think that they will cancel it for me?
Thats a dang good price on an XM-L drop-in. Hopefully its the same one that everyone was recieving at the original price!
wow great service on KD's part. I sent them 2 emails today, both were replied to in the same evening, including a full refund on this XM-L drop-in that I had ordered at the original price.
Perhaps I will order a few more things now:) including this lower priced XM-L.
KD has actually cleaned up their act a lot as of late, quick replies and quick shipping. The only thing they lack now is a good storefront/page where you can actually find what you are looking for. DX on the other hand has gone downhill as of late. DX still ships out fast enough on some of their inventory, but their customer service is getting ridiculous...
That's why i switched from dx to manafont and KD. almost anything i want those two does have. Well i bought a SKYRAY 1JC and a Uniquefire hs-801 (which is taking sweet time to arrive) from BIC since it was cheap (with a ton of referrals and discount cupons).
I'd like a body that can take 2x 18650's side-by-side, in a parallel arrangement. It'd be easier to hold, less likely to blow up, feed current more easily to current-hungry XM-L's and shorter for easier storage (like in a car glovebox).
Incandescents needed higher volage bulbs to perform better, but with LEDs only wanting 3-3.5v and lots and lots of current, its time to move to parallel cells.
This is true - I'd prefer shorter and wider to longer and thinner. The only one i can think of is the Fenix TK-35 but it most emphatically is not a budget light.
