hmmmmm, price is a headache thing, but I can’t provide so low price, looks is similar, inside is different, and I only can say I have already given the big discount to BLF members about the KINFire price.
Actually this Courui look-alike is priced lower at Ali Express. I think its basically the same with the Courui “Bighead” or this KF10 except for the brand because the look-alike has none.
If I had a laser etcher, I can place BLF Nightbird95 in this light after modding it into a monster thrower.
Interesting light but you definetly got the voltage wrong, it should be either 4.2v (for parallel) or 12v (series) which is it? Don’t just read the manual, open up the light and look at the battery tube, post a pic please.
The voltage is 3.6-7.2V, I got it from KINfire factory, old mistake is from the unclear communication with them
About the price, In China, you could find the very cheapest product, Chinese is very good at clone, 2 or 3 guys can clone any flashlight, and one family can be one factory, they haven’t design cost, facility is very simple, no management cost, and reduce the quality of material, of course, the price is very attractive, but I only trace the good quality flashlight, in my shop I must ensure my customer can get the good quality and good price product, so for every factory, I must check them and check the product by myself, and becaue my e-shop is new, I already provided the very competive price for BLF members, I don’t want to earn money now, only try to earn the trust!
I don’t think that would be very safe, because the 2 that were in parallel would basically act like one that has twice the capacity of the other one that is in series.
I’m still not clear what the battery config for this light is?
Ohaya, yes, 6 cells. It is possible and given the fact that the k1200s uses a 2s3p battery tube, maybe kinfire sells the tube separately. Or intends to. A two cell, single LED driver isn’t a strange thing so I’m assuming specs are correct.
Ahh! So there’s a “k1200s” that takes 6 cells in 2s3p and this light, which presumably has the shorter battery tube with 3 cells? If so, then this light, as-is, is probably 3p then, I guess?
EDIT: So the driver (presumably the same in both lights) can TAKE 2xLi-ion voltages, but this light, with the shorter battery tube is only 4.2V (3p)?
