I ordered 4 different klarus lights lately, as they seem to be stepping up they’re game and I realized a true flashaholic nutcase such as my self must have at least ½ a dozen lights from every manufacturer on the face of the planet. I realized all these years I’ve never owned one, & now 4 in less than a month. Quality control issues aside, they seem to be well built, and hopefully all the threads popping up lately will get them to fish out these problems BEFORE they ship their products.
In other words, they’re almost there, IF they keep coming out with decent concepts followed by flawless execution of the product. But I have yet to find any manufacturers that is beyond criticism.

From what I’ve seen on my sample, I think it might be the Allen (torx) screws on yours. Mine are pretty tight and I see no movement, but I also notice, mine appear to be a smaller diameter screw than yours (in other words, I’d need a smaller wrench). Not that it should make a difference. Maybe you have an early sample as I just received mine a few days ago?
The other quirk I notice is my switch rattles and is quite noisy. I’m probably going to to take it apart and see if I put an o-ring between the metal parts will it stil function
Ive got another status mail from them some days ago that i need to react, it was the same mail i got before. I am a bit tired about that whole case. In the german forum someone bought 4 of them and one had the same issue. I guess the black screws are just loose. I dont have the right tool for it i think and you will probably wear the screws when you tighten them which means the black coating will probably went off because i think you need some force to tigthen them. Maybe thats why they offered them for a bargain price, who knows. I agree, the switch is a bit to complicated and i bought it because it was cheap I dont need a silent switch.
