Hey this is for the night riders out there. Not bike flashlights but normal flashlights.
What flashlight ya got rigged up on your night ride. By night ride I mean bicycles, scooter, flat boards etc.
For me I’m thinking S2+ (LH351D, 5000K) and either Astrolux EC01 (5000K) or Convoy C8+ (5000K).
Not rigged up (yet) but my Warrior X Pro is my usual ’round-town-at-night light. 8 hours at 350 lumens and ~13k candela makes for a reasonably efficient yet quite effective light, nice long range without getting hot or stepping down. Then if I need to scorch stuff it has turbo mode.
I’ll be starting night rides next week but I guess 350 lumens is plenty enough when pedaling. I’ll be going a little bit quicker so what I wanted was 2 stage lighting. First flashlight (300-800 lumens) for 40 foot area. Then second flashlight from 50 feet to 150 feet (3000 lumens).
Hmm I have an MT09R on a gopro mount and an s2+.
Yeah head mount… and I happen to have the Astrolux HL01 too. But I got the mountain bike full face helmet type. Gotta see how to mount it around the helmet.
