It’s the perfect battery for an LT1, if cost isn’t an issue. 16Ah should keep it running for quite a while, only way to come close would be to use 3x 21700 in a custom body tube.

And in the same vein, I think the LT1 is the perfect light for this kind of battery, as it uses them in a parallel configuration so much less chance of mishaps – even with a protected battery, I would be wary of putting 4x4000mAh in series

Just checked and right now this seems to be the only page these batteries can be purchased from: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805511868669.html

At $20.67 for 2 batteries (u$ $10.34 per battery) I don’t find them horribly expensive, everything considered – I paid almost $7 for my MJ1s a couple of months ago.

But is Vapcell really only selling them through AliExpress? I for one hate AliExpress and avoid like hell buying anything there…

I’m currently in Chile and local battery distributors here generally suck, haven’t found a good one yet, at least for Li-Ions – if you have a reseller or similar here, please let me know.

In the US I usually purchase from illlumn.com and other stores listed on batteries.parametrek.com – alas, I see the N40 isn’t being listed, probably because no stores are carrying it yet… @Parametrek might be interested to hear from you when you have any stores selling them.

Yes, that’s how I understand it works: it offers a searchable/queryable database of batteries and their characteristics and prices, and along each result points to a web store selling it.

I agree with the “outstanding” adjective, it’s a great tool.
