Least favorite light in your collection

Ok, we have the thread of the favorite light in our collections. How about the least favorite light in our collections?
That’s an easy one for me.

I took the bait and bought a Monster Flashlight. Probably the most disapointed I have been in any light I have bought. Especially considering the price I paid.

though, im still thinking of ROP bulb, but not over driving it anymore than 4xAA… for now J)

Anything with next mode memory.
Ultrafire S5.

Any light that disappoints me is not worthy to be in my collection, it gets sacrificed to the light gods!

Wha light was it ?

I agree ..offer it up to the Gods ...if it's that bad it's gotta go ..it may be in flashlight limbo "the resale zone "...But it won't be in my collection or in my face ... it has to leave the building .

Least favorite light I've bought is the 8$ small sun that sort of looks like a SWM v10R.. or trustfire z8

Lights that broke immediately /uf h2/tr f-23/

My most disappointing lights are my SC52 and L10 N219. Not sure I would say “least favorite,” they have some excellent attributes, but I was disappointed.

I don’t remember which model it was. I was so pi$$ed off with the light, I couldn’t stand to look at it any more and so I threw it in a box or something so I don’t have to be reminded of it any more. I went to their web page to see if I could find that model but it isn’t there anymore that I can see. I thought about giving it to the Salvation Army or something but they would sell it to some poor person and poor people have enough to worry about already.

This one.

'1600lm' Cree XM-L 'U2' 2x18650 Tulip-Head Zoomie.

or the ultrafire sipik-sk68 clone. eugh. gross.

Trustfire Z8. It's nice to look at though.

Dorcy 41-4416 (i’m sure no one has heard of it except threads i’ve posted long ago)
several design flaws, i have to clean the positive terminal with a long q-tip with chemicals to prevent flickering, the “driver” is a 1ohm resistor, and it has no pill, just like the EA8
3AA batteries, 0.37A on Rayovac NiMH, 0.5A on duracell alkaleaks, and 0.7A on eneloops, xp-e, unknown bin, but purplish tint

Edit: Also dents in the negative side of the batteries because of the twist on or “tactical” momentary push on, it was meant for disposable batteries that will be tossed after one discharge so making deep concave indentations in the battery won’t matter

Ultrafire UF-T50. Used to love it but just don’t use it anymore as I prefer my NW lights and it has BAD parasitic drain.

When I first started getting interested in lights (recently), I got a “Fordex” from Amazon (a Sipik clone). No, that’s not the least favorite… read on.

After that, I was looking to make it into a 2xAA light, and googling, I found a thread here on BLF about a “Police 3W” light (I think that’s what it was called) from Buyincoins, that had a part that was suppose to be able to be used to extend the Fordex. So, I ordered one of those.

When I got it, I was really disappointed because it was terrible, almost like a toy, with very thin aluminum. The tube part did fit the Fordex, and I still have the other pieces of it somewhere, but I try to ignore them as much as possible. That “Police 3W” is still my least favorite.

Edit: I have another one:

https://www.fasttech.com/p/1057201

It has a metal clicky switch that is almost impossible to press because it’s counter-sunk into the tail, which also gets stuck.

So this is my least favorite to use.

The “Police 3W” is my least favorite to look at :)…

I think my Ultrafire whatevermodel zoomie “1600lumen” light http://www.ebay.com/itm/CREE-XML-T6-LED-Flashlight-Torch-5-Mode-1600Lumen-Zoomable-W-878-for-26650-18650-/181137671721?pt=US_Flashlights is the worst I have. (similar price too) I thought would be a good idea because it could be used as a backup light and take either a 18650 or 26650 or AAA - whatever I had left with some juice still. But the thing sucks in both flood (wide short range flood with not enough power to see much) and square LED thrower mode with random rings. It produces less lumens than my single 18650 previous Ultrafire poor light for half as much…not much good to say about it except it can suck with three different power sources…

+1

Beat me to it. Such a pretty torch, yet so underwhelming.
