LED Bike light to 110V AC outlet

Hello everybody, thanks for having such an informative website.

I have a diy project that I’d appreciate some help with. I recently purchased an LED Bike light (http://www.dx.com/p/zhaoyao-bicycle-t6-led-flashlight-headlight-headlamp-usb-rechargeable-mountain-bike-light-red-488150#.WkoBqWxOn5A) which is powered by USB (the cable end is a male usb, and it is suggested to have 3.6V and 3A).

I would like to turn this into a stationary style short range spot light which I could hook up to a 110V outlet. Although the unit has modes, I would also like the ability to wire in a dimmer to be able to adjust brightness.

How would I go about hooking this up to an outlet? I am thinking of using a cell phone charger (2.5A and 5V). Would this work? And any idea on how to add a dimmer and what kind?

TIA

Phone charger will do the job just fine, and dimming won’t be possible unless you change the driver in light itself which could be very complicated….
