Do you know if there’s anywhere I can find out which step down by how much and after how long …. I’ also interested in their M5 which is quoted as 5 hrs with a standard AA which could potentially be a great pocket light but also good for cycling in the dark as well if the numbers / run time are relatively realistic … but not good if the step down is much.

Thank you for that, it was very useful!!! I hadn’t realised how severe the drop off / step down was (didn’t know there was a step down at all) and would never have bought one if I had … on the graph in the link for the rechargeable 5 series you can see exactly how bad it is which I referred to in my original post.
It’s such a shame as otherwise they’d be good torches but instead are pretty useless in my opinion.
It’s also a shame there doesn’t seem to be one really good smallish zoomie out there say a constant 200lm output with a decent 2 hr + runtime …… guess maybe it’s just not possible
