Visually, the 6500 K version corresponds to the previously tested LED with 3500 K. The dimensions, footprint and illuminated area are also identical.

Maximum reached at 9.8 A, at this point 1705 lm @ 4.04 V
Power at maximum 39.6 W
Efficiency at maximum 43.1 lm/W

Data for 25 °C Tsp (at 85 °C the luminance values are around 13 % lower).

The performance of the FFL505A is similar to the previously tested “Yinding” 6500 K 95 CRI, but slightly better. The main advantage of the FFL505A is the better ordering option with guaranteed CCT and CRI. Apart from the design, there are no other major differences.

The beam corresponds to that of the 3500 K version. However, attention must be paid to the focus; this appears to differ minimally from the 3500 K version and may require different gaskets depending on the reflector used.

The light quality is very good. The tint is slightly rosy, which subjectively looks great and is very reminiscent of the previously tested 6500 K B35AM. The specified CRI of 97 is not met, presumably due to the increased red component.

Nevertheless, the color rendering is very high. The CCT is very cold at 7300 K, which also corresponds to the B35AM with 6500 K. The color rendering of the “Yinding” 6500 K 95 CRI is very similar, only the CCT is lower.

Good light quality, good beam and good tint: if you are looking for a cool white round-die LED with high color rendering and relatively high luminance, you can buy this LED without hesitation.

After so many years waiting we finally have a proper “white” high CRI emitters.
Unlike todays “amber like” cct users around platforms there are some of us that are on zbe hunt gor pure white (slightly cooler) cct.

B35AM 6500K as well as XHP70.3 6500K have been out for a while now, too. If you extend “white” to 5700K, lots of other options like 519A, 219B, LH351D etc show up too. Considering 5700K is ~ the CCT of sunlight on a clear, cloudless day at noon, IMO that should be the reference temperature for “neutral white”.

I have B35 but waiting for Simon to release S21G with TiCu ooption like recent T3 so i can order 6500K HI xhp70.
So far i was able to get 6000k HD
