So I have a Surefire P2x Fury which is rated at 500 Lumen. Its has a mildy cool tint. The other light I have been comparing it to is a Solarforce L2n with a drop-in I made. It has an XML2-T6 4C driven by a Qlite driver rated at a 3.04A. I also have an AR lens. From info I have read on http://flashlightwiki.com I should be getting about 1044 emitter lumen. I am just guessing that the maximum loss in the reflector, lens and bezel is about 30%, so I should have at least 700 Lumen OTF. I am using Xtar 18650 which should be capable of 3A.
When I compare the two using ceiling bounce the P2X seems brighter and I wonder if it is just because of the tint difference? The XML2-T6 4C has a neutral/slightly warm tint. Or an I way off on my lumen estimate?
