LED Tint, Bins, and Real-World Use — Quick Question

Hi BLF,

I’ve been learning more about LEDs lately and wanted to get some input from people with more experience.

  • How much do LED bins and tint differences really matter in daily use?
  • Do you personally prioritize high CRI or maximum output, and why?
  • Have you noticed certain reflector or optic types affecting tint shift more than others?

So far, I’ve found warmer tints more pleasant up close, while cooler tints look brighter outdoors — but that’s just my limited experience.

I’d love to hear how you choose LEDs for EDC or outdoor lights.
