Using the BEST LED thrower for a reference, At what wattage rating does the HID compare for throw? (Taking into account approx same reflector size), For example, which HID, 35w, 65w, or 75w would equal the throw of a TK-70? Looking to get an idea of throw ability vs $$$ spent. Currently have a TF-1200 drawing 1.97a at the tailcap and it does a good job. Wanting more of course and seems like HID is an option. Just dont know that much about them. Really want a torch to be a portable handheld unit. The 6+ inch reflectors are just too much.
