I am looking to play around with UV emitters, but am having trouble finding a host/quartz lens combination. It seems I can most easily find quartz (or fused silica) lenses in the following sizes: 3/4” (19mm), 1” (25.4mm), 1.5” (38mm), 2” (50.8mm) at 1/16” (1.6mm) or 1/8” (3mm) thickness.
I have found/measured the following list of hosts/lens sizes, which I hope may be helpful to others. Does anyone have a suggestion for a host which would work with one of these standard quartz glass lenses? Alternatively, if anyone has suggestions where to look for alternative sizes for quartz windows, I would appreciate the guidance. Thank you for the help!
