Lifetime (?) Supply of Superlube Grease

I just got a package with two cans of Superlube synthetic grease was just over $10 each, plus shipping. 400 grams/.88 pounds of translucent slippery goodness.

I bought it from Betty Mills: Lube Super Lube® Grease Lubricants - Super Lube 692-41160 JR - Betty Mills

Shipping (Fedex) was $9.38 for two cans, a 100 count box of gloves and two boxes of *bubble gum. The order arrived in two days. Betty Mills sells workplace cleaning, safety and other industrial supplies.

  • The gum was part of their snack rewards for making an order.

Industrial lifetime.

Is this stuff good for dry flashlight threads?

I bought one of those 2 years ago. If used only on flashlights, it's definitely a lifetime supply. I haven't even dented mine and I use it to lube door hinges, flashlights, and various other things

Thanks for making me aware of this! I was just at my local hardware store looking for some type of lubricant in grease form, but I couldn't find anything that would work outside of automotive uses. I will place up on order on Amazon for a tube of this.

I’ve seen it at Harbor Freight in a squeeze tube. I think it’s 85g for about $6, That is still probably a lifetime supply

Awe seriously? I couldn't find anything there.

Got my tube at Harbor Freight too.

I keep the tube handy for my flashlights. The container is stored in the garage for larger lubricating jobs around the house.

Ah perfect, thanks.

Anybody tried synthetic bike lube? I’ve got a huge tub of synthetic grease and the consistency is very much on a par with the 1g tub of Yazel I picked up from DX.

I use a bike grease on mine, its a lithium based high melting point tube that cost as close to nothing and works fine on all my lights. I can’t say it would be the best thing ever but it certainly gets the job done.
