What a POS website. Kept popping up that âyour privacyâ box every 2sec after Iâd kill it off, making it unreadable except like peeking through a keyhole.
They should make their webdevs read all their fâing websites that way.
Apparently, if you have the right extensions enabled, the website works fine.
I didnât have any trouble with the site, though I didnât read the articleâI just checked to see if I could access the site. ![]()
Not sure what the problem may be, but Iâve been reading the Guardian in a browser (Chrome) and in an app for Android for years and it worked fine.
Using brave, based on chrome, so Iâm guessing it should act more or less the same. No extensions. Just using this until I get a laptop (old or new) going.
Tablet, so no vpn. Some sites get retarded when they run into vpns.
Displays just fine for me, tried Brave and Safari.
Unno. Rebooted from actual power down then back up, same dealy.
Oh, well.
HmmâŚ
Hey LB, do you still use web browsers with javascript disabled?
I have no idea if that would be the problemâŚ
Iâm just thinking out loud. ![]()
Looks good in my browser window. LOL
I tried light therapy one time. You didnât get a lot of feedback. They donât talk much. ![]()
Canât. Most POS websites need js to the point you just get a blank page if js is turned off. Lazy webdevs who just Lego together pieces from webkitsâŚ
Think i spend about 80% of my online time on Lynx. The other 20% using Firefox for the sites that donât work without js. I have nothing really against js, I just like the speed of lynx when I am just trying to catch up on reading articles or searching my text files directory locally. Nice to see after all these years itâs still maintained well and works exactly as intended. Wonder how many people still use it.
