I was recently gifted a toy helicopter, and of course before powering it up for the first time i had to take it apart and determine what it uses for power, and according to the manual its both a lipo battery and a 7.2V NiMH.
Are there 18650s with higher capacity that would have the necessary output to run a model helicopter?
In small rc helicopters saving weigh is a must to improve runtime, so maybe these tipe of lipo could be better than a heavier 18650 cell: Radio Control Planes, Drones, Cars, FPV, Quadcopters and more - Hobbyking
Interesting, though it already has an 18650, not sure if its actually a lipo (i suspect its not) but i have not ripped it out and weighed it.
