Litwod 4x18650 3xXHP 90.2

Came over this Page Not Found - Aliexpress.com
How does XHP 90.2 compare to XHP 70.2?
With 3xXHP 90 it is only 29 usd
Wish Q8 had usb charging.

Unknown because the Cree XHP90 doesn’t exist, that flashlight has a LED from a lower price manufacturer like Latticebright. Output will still be high, but expect terrible CCT.

Edit: given the large emitter area don’t expect much throw from that, the last image is clearly photoshopped.

good price even just for host.

This could then be a chance to make worlds first Anduril budget 3xXHP 70.2 and 4x30Q flashlight, including Usb charger. I dunno if this will be a straight forward project for some experienced members? Maybe they will sell a host with the usb charger for $15?

any reviews?

But in reality its a … Host with charging port is not hermetical. Charging circuit for sure without battery balancing. Unknown LEDs. Driver with PWM, primitive UI, battery filled with sand , 1A input/output and so on…. ;))

If the batteries were parallel, it makes charging easier but driver harder (must be boost). Subtract the charging circuit and you have Haikelite MT03 TA

For all we know they may be using some 3V variant of the fake XHP emitters. LB or other small manufacturers are more likely to make a flashlight oriented 3V version than Cree.

The Xanes W69 also uses a fake “XHP90” LED, and got 1400 lumens on startup, 1162lm at ANSI time (30s iirc) according to reviewer Flashaholics, so don’t expect any record from this light. At best consider the fake XHP90 as good as a SST40 if you are lucky, but with a larger than XHP70 emitter area to reduce the throw.
