I am allergic to work… The way they work. Sockets have holes clear thru them. ( At least the ones I have do)The light would shine out of the socket when snapped on the extension.

Edit. I would think that since the center of the extension is hollow, that it would now be fragile and would break much easier. I wouldn't want to put any force on one. I guess it's inventive, but who uses sockets in darkness? Thieves?
