I dropped my faithful TR-J20 on cement today, bent it a bit and cracked the front glass. I’m pretty heartbroken since they don’t seem to sell them anymore … fasttech was the only store that still claimed to have any, so I ordered one, but I’m assuming it’ll get cancelled.
I haven’t bought a new light in ages, so I don’t know what’s out there. Are there any other 32650-based beasts with the huge thermal mass and cooling capabilities of the J20? I really loved my J20 … it was comforting knowing that with its huge head and weight (around 1.5kg with no batteries), it was as much weapon as light if I ever caught anybody prowling around my house. So sad right now :(.
