Hey everyone. Just starting out in flashlights and kinda stumbled onto a bit of a mystery. Wanted to know if they make the following tailcap for a 501B body:
It may just be a matter of me not knowing what the proper term for this type of tailcap. Can anyone help a brother out?

Can I “assume” that this Solar Force tail cap fit and work with a 501B body?

No, will NOT fit a 501b. Same diameter, but different thread pitch.
Just get a empty L2P host. They're cheap and you'll never want to touch a 501b again.
If memory serves, the L2 or L2N host is actually the one you want.
Ah. Sorry. I would have checked the website, but I can't go there without getting lost for an hour and then ordering a bunch of stuff I don't need. :Sp
Yeah, as I was looking through all of the DIY parts, I began to consider just getting the body as well. I’ll keep looking. Thanks for all the input!
