Looking for a wall mount idea for Black Shadow Darth

I would like to mount a BlackShadow Darth flashlight on the wall for easy access when I want to use the light. I tried this bracket, but the Darth is too fat to fit in it. The brackets I found at Home Depot for wall mounting tools were also too small to fit the darth.

As you can see in the following review picture by _the_, the Darth has a cross section of a rounded triangle with 44mm sides. Any ideas on how I can do a “quick snap on/off” wall mount for the Darth? Thanks for your help.

you want it (and the beam) perpendicular to the wall?

affix appropriate inner dia. PVC fitting to wall….insert darth

Hi, Thanks for helping.

I’m sorry, I wasn’t clear. I don’t need the light on when mounted on the wall. I just want to keep it mounted on the wall instead of leaving it in a drawer when not in use. So, vertical or horizontal doesn’t matter.

I’ve hung all sorts of things by using the peg board hanger that’s in the top right and tweaking the angle/shape of the arms that stick out w/ pliers.

would work great if you didn’t use a lanyard on the tail, but might work anyway if the body is narrower than the tail.

I’ve also taken peg board hangers and plasti-dipped them for displaying firearms…(in case you don’t want to risk scratching your light)

Something like this might work

I’m on my phone so link may not work.

Yeah, if you use the lanyard on it it's really easy. Just mount an unobtrusive wall hook on the wall and hang it by the lanyard. You can go simple or fancy for only a few bucks.

This for just $1.48

or this for $3.28

Opps, just clicked on your link in the first post. Nevermind - the Mag holder won’t fit…

I’d go with johnnymac’s suggestion myself, but if you want a firm mount, warn do rubber mounts off roaders use. I’ll try and find a link….

There you go, now look at the prices and consider a lanyard, rawl plug, screw and hook, or even screw in brass hook……

or

you could put a steel medallion on the lanyard, and a good magnet on the wall

This might work, but you’d have to paint it and then cover it up with adhesive felt, or plasticote it. Otherwise it will scratch the heck out of your light…

Old thread but it’s brief so I’ll bump it as my tidbit is on topic:

I combine these:
— “utility hook”

#8 finish washer (because there’s a punch-out on most of these utility hooks that will tear out without the washer)

and a long switchplate screw

and have one of these little hooks right on the switchplate for most of our light switches
