How many amps do you want to drive the emitter at? Does it require space for a battery spring on one side? What P60 shell are you using?
about 3A. Positive contact spring would be good but its smaller than 17mm I could always use a contact plate
I may have something that will work but it's still in development. In the mean time, have you read through this thread and looked at all the suggestions?

Not a rhetorical question either lol. I have not had a chance to read through it myself.

Not yet but I shall now do so!
You might try this driver. http://www.lightmalls.com/super-output-ssc-p7-led-driver-board-low-high-middle-5-5v-15v-2
There are other places that sell the same driver, Super Output p7 driver. I have mentioned this before and I don’t know if anyone has reported back. This driver is 19mm and could possible sanded down to fit in a 17mm pill. Good budget driver.
.
I played around a little with the super output p7 driver in this thread.

Still having no luck finding a driver!
I have some 19mm drivers that I shall see if I can make fit when I get back to bangor!
