Looking for Good Angle-headed Light with Clip...

It can use any of the usual battery types (preferably a nimh type from AAs or AAAs), but needs a good clip because it needs to be small enough to clip on a front pocket and will be a hands-free light. It should have NO PWM on any level, but should most of all be floody. No hotspot in the beam and it would need to be a budget light.

I have seen a few of these, but never had experience with these and so would like some recommendations.

Looks nice, but how much does it cost?

$49 here

Actually, these aren’t too craptasic for the money. Even bettery if you can snag one on sale for 5 bucks or so. Mine is GITD green. Does have 400 Hz PWM on low.

Nice styling, price, and features, but does it have good flood?

Not really, hotspot is around a foot in diameter at 9 feet. Body is plastic. Does around 75 lumens on a lithium primary AA cell.

you can make it flood with some tape or following this simple mod

or else you could get one of these Spark SG5 or SG3 ($49 with coupon)

and write a review
